Fall Craft Shows!!!

Yesterday marked the beginning of many weekend of fall craft events that I will be participating in, some repeats from previous years and a few new adventures!
The show at Reavis High School in Burbank, IL, yesterday was a great way to get motivated.  It was the perfect way to get back into the "pack up the vehicle, set up the display, meet the customers, sell the products, take down the display" routine that goes with every show no matter how large or small.  Reavis HS is only ten miles away from the house.  I participated in the show last year and had many returning customers.
My trellis necklaces and scarves were popular, as were my ruffled scarves.  The yarns I use are from Turkey and Italy and are unique in color variations.  I am also selling my hand-knitted infinity scarves this year, which are in gorgeous shades of complimentary colors.  So soft and cozy!

New this year are my rubberband bracelets -- the latest craze around here!  I designed Halloween bracelets using glow-in-the-dark skull beads, black/orange bracelets with a large spider -- adorable!  I also made some bracelets in the Illini and Bears colors which were big sellers as well.

Today I will need to go thru my inventory and determine what items I need to replenish before next Sunday's show at Marian Catholic High School.  It is their 32nd annual Oktoberfest, supporting their band program.  Sounds like a fun day!  Hopefully the weather will cooperate and will bring in lots of customers!!!

I will also be creating Halloween and Christmas cards beginning this week -- my new Anna Griffin embellishments arrived last week and I can't wait to begin designing with them!

I have updated my calendar with all my fall craft show dates.  Hope to see you there!
